Learn More > Spanish Immersion Legacy Christian School is pleased to announce that we now offer students in the Greater Grand Rapids area the opportunity to enroll in our new Spanish Immersion Program . The 2016-2017 school year was our pilot year, beginning at the kindergarten level. The program will grow with an additional grade level being added each year. Current research demonstrates that fully proficient bilingual individuals outperform monolinguals in the areas of divergent thinking, pattern recognition, and problem solving. New Family Transfer Credit Families transferring to the school may qualify for the “ New Family Transfer Credit. ” This credit is available for all transferring students, provided there is a student in 1st-8th grade, and provided they are not coming from another neighboring South Suburban Christian School. The credit reduces tuition for all family members the first year enrolled at Legacy by 50% and 25% the second year. This is not an automatic reduction and must be applied for through the Finance Committee.
